Default Nike+ Sportband

Since my wife and I are both preparing for the same marathon, it can get tough competing for the iPod for longer runs. So I picked up a Nike+ Sportband the other day.

It needs to be calibrated , as it was about .08 miles too far per mile. So instead of the 17 miles that I think I actually ran, it gave me credit for 18.3.

Other than that, I loved it. It was very easy to set up and use. One button to start and stop, one button to toggle through the run data. It has elapsed run time, current pace, distance and calories burned. Once the run is over, it then gives run totals, weekly totals and total sportband totals.

The only downside is it is not backlit, so in low light it is next to impossible to see. That, plus its a bit pricey, as you basically have to buy a new sportkit and shoe sensor.

Definitely recommend it.
