I'm hoping to get a rough draft done by the end of the weekend. I'll probably post it here.

The teacher doesn't want anything longer than 5 or 6 pages, so it's not going to be anything impressive-- certainly, it cannot be a full and complete treatment of the topic. So don't get your hopes up for anything tremendously good.

Then again, one of the key characteristics of this issue is the almost complete lack of evidence, especially of primary documents, to bolster it. One can't talk about nothing for long-- though they often try.
