Default So I watched the first 2 episodes of "Lost" last n

It really is good stuff. I missed season 1 due to young mens obligations. Several of my patients last week caught me up on season 1, but I still have some unanswered questions that I may need to go watch myself.

Are we able to speak freely on last nights episode without ruining it for anybody? Or do even care?

Let me know if we're okay to ask questions.

My opinion is that we should be able to freely discuss the day after it has aired.

So, can we speculate on some things from last nights episode?

First, did anyone else notice the symbol on the shark out in the open water? Am I imagining things? I believe it was the same symbol that jack saw in the tunnel on the control panel. Any thoughts as to what that is all about?

Was the hatch sealed from the inside or the outside? This Desmond guy intrigues me. Obviously not Jacks imagination in the stadium or the hatch. Seemingly been trapped inside for eons. Amazingly advanced technology(Did you see that Apple? I think it came straight off my desk from 1982). Who is "him" that he was asking the older guy (name???) if he was?

Is there anything else? Those of you that have been watching since last year help me out here. Next weeks episode looks interesting with the others making an appearance.

I saw the symbol on the shark too. It was the same as in the hatch. Lots of interesting things in last nights episode for sure. The countdown clock reset to the sum of the "magic numbers".

The sum of the numbers? Nice work, there is no way that I would have caught that one.

did anyone notice the girl in the picture with Desmond? Did it look like Sarah (the girl Jack married) to anyone? It might explain Jack's over the top emotional breakdown afterwards.

I didn't notice the girl in the picture, but I definitely believe that there is more to the Desmond/Jack thing than what they've revealed so far.

In the film that Jack and Locke watched, did anyone else think that the quick shot of the rich guy that funded the entire Darma project was actually Lockes father? It was very quick, but he looked a lot like the dad.

that's interesting, I didn't notice that before. I heard someone else pose the theory that Locke's father is the original Sawyer, the one that conned our Sawyer's parents. But their only supporting evidence was that Locke's father said something like "you're not the first person to be conned."

maybe this will all be tied together like a good Seinfeld episode, the connections of everyone's life. Maybe there will be 15 "Sixth Sense" moments.
