Default Zulu is on suicide watch

with Gillispie gone.

A guy who eats his meals out of a convenience store isn't going to stick around. I called this a long time ago. He's Majerus, but with more wanderlust.

After the way A&M grabbed Franchione from Alabama the Aggies ought to be used to the cut-throat coach heisting game. What goes around comes around.

I don't think the A&M job is very attractive. The expectations are tremendous, and if you have a couple of seasons where expectations aren't met, the fans will turn on your big time. It's going to be a challenge to follow Gillispie.

Maybe they will hire Majerus. Majerus in College Station. That would be funny.

I cannot imagine wanting to coach at College Station. If I had to choose a city to live in, it would be Austin, then San Antonio, the DFW. College Station is too close to Houston if I recall.

where would you coach in San Antonio or DFW?

you would fail miserably as a coach because you would choose better restaurants or weather over better prospects as a coach.

The only really good job in Texas for basketball is UT-Austin.

IOW, I would only coach for UT Austin. There really are only about three cities worthy of consideration for Texas resdence.

College Station is its own little world. Personally, not for me.

Not necessarily. I'm still waiting for that to happen to Florida.
