BYU fans just need to shut up. . .
about the UNLV home court advantage. Is it an advantage? Of course. But outside Provo, and maybe even there, BYU will always be at a disadvantage because it's fans from 8 teams cheering against fans from 1 team. This became crystal clear during the halftime show of the UNLV/Utah game, when all the cheer squads performed. 8 teams were cheered, one team was booed-- loudly.
There are only 2 ways BYU gets a level playing field in the MWC tourney . 1)station the game in Brazil, Argentina, or possibly Japan, where they would cheer for both teams even though they that have no clue what the hell is going on. 2) don't allow fans to attend the games. This is the unfortunate byproduct of having a better school than anyone in the conference, but being forced to play with them because we don't want to play on Sundays or have a GLAD chapter on campus. |

agreed.
BYU lost, UNLV won. It was a Tourney caliber game and BYU needs to up its performance if it wishes to win any.
