Very nice. Be aware that Santana uses a unique rear axle frame spacing. I have a Santana tandem/triple and I like it.

if my dad and I could do a 100 mile ride individually at 20.5mph, how fast could we do it on a tandem, do you think (flat ride)?

Assuming you practice a bit to get in synch, your average should be at least 2-4 mph faster.

this might actually happen. my dad is looking into borrowing one.
I would probably be the stoker. I would just chill in the back, whistle at the girls, etc. |
