By the way, it has been suggested that we already have too many Ute attorneys here, so I hope you don't fall in that camp. |

not sure I like that
better than cougarboard. The layout is a bit 90's-ish for cb, but I do like the organization to threads and posts better. Perhaps that is because I'm just trying this out for the first time...

Because it encourages a very brief conversation that can't be easily updated over time. 30 minutes after you post, your post is on the 2nd page, never to be seen again. The board becomes full of SGCs and reposts, and link-backs to other posts. Spammers dominate. Conversations are repeated over and over. There are good things about the CB format, but it is also limiting in many ways. |

I thought the same thing when I first came here... You get used to it really quickly. I actually prefer this format to CB in many ways.

The biggest drawback here, besides all the Utes of course, is the fact that the traffic is less. So you may not get a reply to your thread for a few hours, but at least here well thought out posts usually stir discussion and it stays in one thread, instead of spawning off 13 other threads where the same arguments get made.
Definitely different than CB, but not different in a bad way. |

Danimal doesn't belong on that list. He was/is a longtime CB poster. That's how I originally came to help him in moving to Dallas.
Also, Farrah has a CB account. She is SilverBeaver. |
