The religious bigots are out to get Mormons, which are often white upper-middle class people.

Since the reaction to Collie was religious bigotry, yes that makes sense.

Poor picked on Austin Collie. Next we are going to hear how he had such a tough life, because once when he wanted to go on the date his Dad wouldn't let him take the new car, and he had to take the Honda Accord which was 4 years old.

Look I'm now glad that Collie made that statement, because the humor of him whining about being a poor picked on upper-middle class white Mormon is pure gold. This is almost as good as JJ Redick's poetry.

He rightfully is pointing the hypocrisy associated with athletes and religious comments.

You mean like when athletes like him make religious comments?

With so much drama in the U-t-C
Is kind of hard being Austin C-o-double l-i-e
But I, somehow, some way
Keep comin' up with freakin' sweet magic like every single day.
May I, kick a little something for the mo's (yeah)
And, make a few catches (yeah!), As I rush, through
1 in the mornin' and the party stopped jumpin'
Cause BM wants us home
We got coeds in the living room readin' the BoM
And, they ain't leavin' til 12 a.m. (cause its curfew)
So what you gonna do, sweeeeeeeeeeeit
I got a freezer full of ice cream, and my homeboys do too
So turn up the lights and keep four feet on the floor
But (but what) we love the NCMO
So we gonna drop was Caffeine Free to this
Mo's up, sinners down, while God blesses us

Rollin down the street, eatin' ice cream, sippin' on caffeine free coke
Laid back [with my mind on my magic and my magic on my mind]

Funk, you know which board you need to post that on. You'll probably get 10 red stars.

Nah that would make it too long. Remember the drunken audience. Short and sweet is the right fit.
