SteelBlue is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Caught "American Flyer" on ESPN Classic yesterday

I'd never seen the film. I don't know why, but I could picture RC Viking and Creekster riding with those guys back in the early 80's. Cut off sweats for his cycling shorts and a cowboy hat for a helmet. Breaking Away is the clear winner in the "best cycling related film" category now that I've seen both. I do give AF a couple of bonus points for 1) working a Russian in as a secondary bad guy in true 80's fashion and 2) working Eddie Merckx into a brief cameo role as "race starter".

RC Vikings is on a distinguished road
Default

I caught myself watching it last night also. It always takes me back to the days of toe clips and helmets were optional.

I saw that movie for the first time the day it came out in an empty Boise theater one afternoon. The only part I was really bummed out about was having the top Russian with a beard and a gut. Also I thought it was funny when Muzzin is trying to push David over the edge. They are the two leaders and nobody is around to see this happen. For the most part it's pretty enjoyable.
