Local radio was talking this morning about trying to interview Steelers fans after the game, and they were all furious and unable to speak.

This was the most watched program in TV history. 111 million tuned in to watch Steelers fans take it in the gut.

The second most watched program in history was last year's Super Bowl, 106 million. #3 was the finale of MASH 28 years ago.

Why the sudden increase in NFL interest? All other sports are on the decline, in terms of viewership.

NBA - best of 7 series, so there is no real event.

MLB - again, it's not a 1 night winner-take-all, plus baseball overall has been in a steep decline since when? 1960s? 1970s?
