Default Alex Jensen...

Jensen is one of Majerus' assistants at St. Louis:

This could be old news for some Ute fans, but in case you missed it, Boylen offered Jensen the Ute assistant job that recently opened up before he gave it to the JUCO College of Southern Idaho coach, but Jensen declined. The reason he declined is he's not confident in Boylen's chances of being successful at Utah.

I haven't heard that as the reason that Jensen turned down Boylen. What I heard is that Jensen turned him down because of his loyalty to Majerus.

This is what I've heard as well.

What is your source for your info, scottie?

So why then did the head coach of one of the top JUCO programs in the country accept?
Alex is very loyal to Majerus, as 'Funk said.

Very close friend of the Jensens. Everyone believes what they want to believe, but trust me on this one.

When I saw Boylen, I saw a coach who seemed immature and emotionally out of control.

I highly doubt he can create a disciplined basketball team.

You're asking me to trust a BYU fan about Alex Jensen. I'm not saying that you have no idea what you're talking about, but I'm sure you can see where I'm coming from.

I'm not particularly worried about Jensen not being at Utah, as Alex needs to do what he feels is best for him. I won't lose sleep over it.

What could I possibly say that would sway you? And what does me being a BYU fan have to do with anything?

No worries friend.

I'm just saying that your perspective may be coming from that of a fan of the rival of the Utes. I apologize if I offended you in any way.

Jensen may very well believe that Boylen won't have success, but that's ok with me. I'll cheer for them regardless what happens.

I know that's what you're saying, but my perspective has nothing to do with what I was told. Regardless, no offense taken, and no offense directed at you either.
