Well, Christensen was an RB at BYU and a TE in the NFL. Perhaps Christensen is thinking that he is Unga's hero and wants to emulate TC?

Todd is an idiot, it wont happen. Unga is going to be a running back for the next 4 years at BYU. We are so deep at tightend are you sure it wasnt said in jest?

it could be a move to increase Unga's NFL prospects because his speed isn't NFL backfield.

It seems we already have about 3 NFL-caliber TEs, so if Anae moves Unga to that position, he should probably be committed.

BYU isn't that stupid. Unga is the best back by far and we have decent TE's already. Unga plays great from the backfield as a runner and as receiver.

This explains why Anae is not being considered to be a head coach elsewhere. Luckily for BYU the media sources following BYU are full of morons who say things that defy any logic or reason and folks might consider it legitimate.

I'm sure TC said something to Anae along the lines of "Unga has great hands, he could play TE." Anae, humoring TC replies, "uh, yeah Todd...we'll think about that".

The only reason I can think of is maybe Anae thinks JJ Dilugi or someone else is good enough to take away most reps from Unga. Either that or Manase has pictures of him and farm animals.
