Default The Offensive and Defensive lines concern me

The left tackle position is open and Wilcox is unavailable. Given you want to protect Hill, you have a completely inexperienced line and nobody proven at left tackle, that is a scary proposition unless the very young talent comes through.

The dline has health problems, so that is the concern.

That's what I was about to say but I don't pay as close attention to detail on the football roster as I do for basketball.

when are the lines ever not questionable?

That BYU can't put guys in the lines into the NFL like we did decades ago is one reason we haven't been better.

We have weaknesses and reason to suspect the lines until we don't.

According to Empey,

Wilcox is out due to academics and Kyle is out due to injuries. We are very thin along the Oline and implementing a new scheme that will play against top notch Dlines against Utah and Michigan State.

If BYU does not have a successful season this year, IMHO, it will be due to subpar play by the linemen. Grateful we have experienced QBs and RBs, but they need some measure of protection.
