Authorship.
Are you of the opinion this letter is Pauline in origin or not? I haven't reached a firm conclusion, but note it is broken into a theological discussion and faith affirming section. The problems I have determining authorship is my Greek is so bad, I can't tell if the writer appears similar to Paul, only written as some believe during his time in Rome, or after his death by an associate. I guess it doesn't matter.

I do think authorship is important if only because it shines a light on how we view and understand scripture. Last edited by pelagius; 10-22-2007 at 02:54 AM. |

[QUOTE=Archaea;139364]Do you have access to this document? It's dated but I find it might contain some interesting stuff?
http://links.jstor.org/sici?sici=0885-2758(196301)31%3A1%3C65%3ATETTEA%3E2.0.CO%3B2-B The review, yes. The book? Don't know, I will check tomorrow if my library has it. Any opinions on this work? |
