I was also able to attend the WC Qualifier at Rice-Eccles and it was a total blast.

My brother lives in Germany and I'd love to visit him while the World Cup is going on over there.

I've been to several Duke-Carolina showdowns in both Cameron and the Dean Dome including one that got my picture in Sports Illustrated (okay just my body since the basketball happened to cover up my face).

I was 75% planning on going there to take in a game or two until I saw the ticket purchasing procedures (last winter?), which weren't, um, very *flexible*. (For instance, if I'd pre-bought all the US games and somehow the US had failed to qualify, the ticket distributors would have randomly assigned me a team and sent me tickets for that team rather than refunding the ca$h.)

Unless I misunderstood the procedures horribly.
