As you know, part of the wonder of primates is that they often like to smell their own poo, then get all excited and throw it at others. I just viewed today's exchange as one gibbon flinging his poo all over the cage. As for Vic's, Archaea is coming, too, and he has to perform calisthenics to get his meal. If bluegoose shows up, I may require that he eat his entire meal while pedaling on a stationary bike.

In the parking lot or indoors? If I have to pedal outdoors, I would likely use up my entire sample of the Badger spf30 sunblock, that hopefully will not run out before I make it down to the cr33k biking trail. Then what would I wear when we run on over to SBC park to catch the afternoon Giants/Dodgers game?

DDD, if you're worried about the cost of the game after springing for Vics, don't worry. I've got a friend with a couple of 2-seater kayaks that we can borrow to go float around the cove. I realize that catching a Randy Winn blast doesn't carry the same appeal that a Barry Bonds ball would have, but it still sounds like fun. And cheap.

Have a client in Richmond (also offices in San Ramon) but no need to get up there right now. I will continue to look for ways. If you come down to LA/OC, I will take you to Mastros, which is actually better (not by much, but it is better).

I decided today was the day to start riding to work again. I'd forgotten how nice it is to have just that little workout (commute is only 6 miles) before work. I plan to continue all summer.
One thing I had forgotten about cost me several minutes this morning. A cyclist weighs too little to trip most of the lights around this town. I had to sit through 2 or 3 cycles at 3 different intersections because no cars were turning left and I couldn't trip the light. Frustrating!!! |
