I'm most nervous about the unknown... and feeling unprepared doesn't help...

why are you being a wuss bag? you have another commitment or you just don't want to see me fall over on my bike at the starting line...

I'll just say that I was thrown a curveball and things have been chaotic lately. I have needed a very narrow focus. And this just seemed like too much.
That said, I would love nothing more than to see you fall off your bike.

Quis, this non-start will bump you down in the rankings.

This is like Giuliani deciding not to participate in the straw poll.

I know. My star is quickly fading. I guess I can remember the good old days when my abilities were a thing of legend.
Not to mention, i haven't been on my bike for a week. I wore my rear tire to the threads. Instead of buying a new one, I put one on that I had laying around the basement. So my last ride consisted of 2 pinch flats ans a mile walk back to work in my cycling shoes.
I bought a new tire today and hope to be out suffering again tomorrow.
