As much as I hate the Spurs, I was very happy to see them win tonight.

Nothing I enjoy more in professional basketball, besides a Jazz win, than seeing Steve Nash bitch, moan and lose. Him being the two time MVP is the biggest joke in professional sports. Seriously.

Amen. How can you be MVP when you have two all-stars at your side in the starting lineup? Once, fine. Twice, and now I know it's just the league posturing for a better image. Funny though that there has been plenty of "thuggery" this post season.

And speaking of a joke, Mark Cuban breaking down and crying at the award ceremony for Dirk's MVP this year.

Kind of like Magic and Kareem, right?

Great point and duly noted. But Nash isn't even close to touching their jock straps. You're talking about arguably two of the greatest players ever. Nash will never be in that conversation.

That's interesting... I've never heard anyone make that point before. I guess I've never thought that for someone to MVP he needed to play along crappy teammates.

Who do you think should have been the MVP this year?

Waaaaait let me guess... does he go by The Black Mamba?

Were Nash still in Dallas I think the Mavericks are wearing Championship Bling by now.

I am not a big fan of the Spurs. They have some of the biggest whiners in the game in Ginoboli, Bowen and Duncan (Duncan is a great guy, but it is shocking how much the guy whines about everything, all the time, about anything).

I think the Jazz have as much chance against the Suns as they do against the Spurs (for different reasons). I would much rather see a Suns-Jazz match up than a Spurs-Jazz match up simply from a 'enjoy the games' perspective more than anything else.

Bruce Bowen is an ankle-breaking hitman that should be incarcerated for assault with the number of scorers he's injured. Spurs suck. Go Jazz.
