I have a gay white Mormon cousin that works for Black Entertainment Television.

Does that count?

I don't have numbers for Asian, Hispanic or whatever other ethnic breakdowns. I haven't seen anyone discuss the lack of representation from those groups. Casual observation would lead me to believe they are numerous, particularly the Hispanic group.

I've already talked about the permanent positions. Proportional representation lags the current church membership demographics due to the extremely low turnover.
There are about 150K total members in Japan and Korea (<25% active), and I know we've had at least three speakers in General Conference from those nations. I think there may be more that have served as GA's. That's not bad represention, I would think.

Funny you say that, because I too have a cousin who has the same race, sexual orientation and profession as I.

Africans is not the same as blacks. Many of the Africans you linked to are white (including the one who was called to the First Quorum). Not sure why you are struggling to grasp this fact.

Indy- for someone who is obviously educated, I really don't know why this is so hard for you. The First Quorum of the 70 contains (drum roll for excitement of announcement...) up to 70 people. 22 would be less than that. The Quorum of the 12 has (ready for this) 12 people. The Presidency has 7. Stats you should know and love.

Sure it counts towards diversity. But the lack of blacks in leadership is a glaring deficiency.

Here's another way to look at it. How long does it take to make a good general authority? 30 years? So I would expect for the sake of diversity, that the GA's that are called now have no less of a split of blacks or internationals than church membership 30 years ago. For the sake of diversity, it should be a little more than the split would dictate. I don't think that model would suggest there is any problem yet.

When I look at the list of GA's, the problem I have is the overabundance of lawyers and MBA's and...ahem...rich people. I'd like to see some more farmers, high school chemistry teachers, insurance salesmen, accountants who did local folk's taxes not the accountants who consult on mergers...guys who gave their lives to wife and kids and service. Can't we have at least a few of those types?
