Oroginally it was between two banjos. Besides, it wasn't much of a duel in the movie, as the in-bred hillbilly pretty much kicked the pretty boy's butt. Banjos rule.

A better Duel was watching Dennis Weaver get his pretty boy's butt chased all over the place by that sadistic truck driver.

I have established that Arch is actually older than mne (but barely). As for you, I don't even want you to think about making fun of me. It was preemptive.

I don't think Judge Smails truly believes that Van Halen is the greatest band ever. Where has he been during this entire discussion?

Led Zeppelin is my favorite alltime.
In terms of influential, Buddy Holly ranks up there. The Beatles listed him as one of their biggest influences. I love Buddy Holly. |

My opinion of U2 is that their last good album was Achtung Baby. And really it's been a chore to listen to them ever since. It's too bad.
I'm trying to think if you can really argue that Led Zeppelin really got better with time. Some might say that IV was their best, but I don't think anyone really thinks the stuff after IV was their best. But I through IV, that's some good stuff. Beatles--too much fluff. How many songs can you write about falling in love with a girl? Some folks like Sting have long distinguished careers. I was a fan of the police back towards the end of their days, but I can't really stand Sting's music, and the Police are passable, not brilliant. So long careers don't mean much to me. |
