Mostly agree. I don't see it being that black and white. Goverments reflect the moral values of their citizens, and religion gets in that mix sometimes.

Do you agree or disagree with Hinckley's notion that goverments have an obligation to promote measures designed to maintain and strengthen the family as the fundamental unit of society?

Perhaps in democratic societies.

In places like China and the Middle East, the government doesn't reflect moral values....it dictates them.

As a general statement, yes. But the specifics as to what that actually means are pretty vague, I think.
