I think too many BYU fans are drinking the Kool-Aid after last weeks win over a bad UofA team. Having said that UCLA got a win over an equally bad, if not worse Stanford team.
Max Hall is still going to experience some growing pains and my guess is this game will be the worst of his growing pains this season. BYU and its fans come back down to earth some,,,put up a bit of a good fight, but UCLA wins by a couple of touchdowns 28-15 as BYU moves the ball between the 30s well, but struggles to capitalize and Hall throws 3 picks. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I think that's what's coming down the pike for tomorrow. If Hall continues to defy convention of early new starters struggling, and the D plays stellar again,,,,then I'll know for sure that this team will be very legit and possibly better than last year.

I'm amending my predictions to bifurcate them.
Archaea Brain: UCLA 28 BYU 21 PER -30 Archaea Heart: BYU 21 UCLA 17 PER +20 If this game took place at the end of the season on a neutral field, BYU would be competitive, but in the home opener with the lack of seasoning, I see either a close win for UCLA or UCLA pulling away in the last quarter. Of course, Homer Heart sees BYU pulling out a close one.
