Give me a link that shows that you're not a gay leprechaun wearing a man-shaped robot suit first. THEN we'll give you a link that shows we've never established that the church has no doctrine.
Here he is:

The church will never apologize for the ban. There are members in high places that look down on certain races right now. I bet if you'd ask half the current members of the church about the priesthood ban most would rationalize it by citing the biblical examples of certain portions of people not having certain privileges.

We'll have to be at least a generation removed from the current apostleship to actually see an apology, it it ever happens, which it won't.

Hence, the need for apology. (I think you are being too generous saying "half.")

Thanks for the link.

You make some very good points, IMO. I think Santos sums up my overall feelings on the issue:

"The majority group doesn't get to tell the minority group to shut up and stop complaining about petty things. So if this was deemed very important by a group of LDS then I would be inclined to agree and to give them what they want."

We have all these white people on here saying it's not that big of a deal; forgive me if I'm not all that interested in their perception.

I'm pretty sure at least one of the people in that group isn't white.
