5 National Parks within close proximity is something that I'd much rather have. Museums are nice, but you can't touch anything and the folks that run them frown on camping.

I wish California had better national parks.

We only have little known parks like Yosemite, Redwood, Joshua Tree, Death Valley, Kings Canyon, Channel Islands, and the John Muir Trail.

Yosemite is awesome and I really like Redwood. Haven't been to the others you mention, but would like to visit them.

I'll put Zion, Bryce, Capital Reef, Arches and Canyonlands up against anything in California.

I like how if it's shown how badly Utah is lacking in something, Utahns just try to change the subject.

The point is that not only does California have national parks like Yosemite, but that they also have nice large museums, zoos, aquariums, theme parks, professional football, baseball, and hockey teams, and a bunch of other stuff that Utah is still too backwoods to have.

I have to admit that Yosemite is awesome. One of my favorite parks. If you can somehow avoid the crowds, that is.
