I watched every minute of it. It's the only time I ever sang along with I've been working on the railroad.

And it wasn't the team, per se. It was Vince. He was the end all and be all of that season. Mack is probably still giving thanks every night for that kid saving his job.

[Have some tea, Mike. It's delightful!! Another scone, perhaps?]

Although a bit off-base in that "early on" the Longhorns were getting the crap smacked out of them. They looked sucky in the first half, and for a chunk of the 3rd.
yes, that is true. I stand corrected.

Not really. I was grasping at straws and am still bitter. Seriously.

You KNOW you are good when the entire stadium knows you are going to call your own number and run the ball....and not only can nobody stop you, nobody came even close to touching you.

Still, it stings. Bad. That was a magical year for SC, nonetheless and perhaps the Rose Bowl was karma for the Bush Push game months earlier.

Does accuracy not have value to you? There reason there were 12 deaths is b/c there were students on the bonfire during construction, meaning it wasn't lit yet, when it fell. They were killed by logs, but not burning logs.

now, continue with making fun of the dead people

I blame the loss on Bush's boneheaded lateral.

They did play poorly in the first and third quarters, IIRC.

With regards to the Bush Push game, I NEVER feel sorry for Notre Dame. I believe the college football gods feel the same - I don't buy the karma explanation.

That WAS a dumb play. Also, the Ting brothers getting any playing time in that game was a mistake, too.

LOL! Is this the most ironic statement of the day? Accuracy? Go read your board and then come back and tell me how accurate they are about the LDS religion, just so you know South Park is not considered a credible source.

Also we can talk about making fun of dead people, I have seen plenty of posts about Joseph Smith on Texags.

Dont worry though its just because its a game week, it will all go away soon.

Ting brothers? Wasn't Darnell Bing on that team as well? So they had Bing and the Tings. They should form a band.
