Lame. Many men currently serve in primary. I just got out of primary. You may never have the chance to be a primary teacher but it's not due to the church's fear of being sued. (well, in your case it actually may be ;-)

you must not be familiar with the church's policy. FP letter to Bishop's. Here's some people complaining about it. Don't think there is a link to the actual letter anywhere.

I am familiar with it. Fortunately, the policy does not have to be applied indiscriminately. For example, our brand new church building, just completed in October, has a window in every single classroom door. This simple feature provides a lot more flexibility when a Bishop has to make a decision about applying the policy.

Even if the policy was absolute, you could still get a chance to teach in primary with your wife or accompanied by another male. Your saying you will "probably never have a chance to teach in Primary" because the Church is "afraid of being sued" is so much melodrama.

Perhaps there are two policies:

Utah policies and everywhere else.

One of the benefits of living in Zion.

Not even I am that cynical.

UtahDan, it's not necessarily as cynical as you think. Think about the missionary work, chapels that can be built with that money.

Don't forget. It's another way to tell men in the church that they are failing and are losers and untrustworthy. IN case we didn't get the message before.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Wow, Mike, you're taking your incessant crying to a new level in this thread.

Wah the Church sucks so I can't teach Primary. Wah the Church sucks so there aren't full-time custodians in our buildings like my mommy used to do. Wah wah wah.

Keep it up. The more you do this the more I doubt you're even a grown man.

Oh good, I was worried you'd ignored me.

Glad to see I can still get to you.
