For me: My Morning Jacket, Modest Mouse, The Shins (are they rock? – not sure), The White Stripes. Can we only choose one? I think a popular pick could be Wilco - but I think they're overrated.

Love My Morning Jacket, seen them numerous times. They put on a great show. When you watch them, you get the feeling that there is no place in the world that they would rather be than playing for you. Wilco is good. Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is not as good as I thought when it first came out. A Ghost is Born is great and certainly better than most give it credit for. The new album is above good and more people would admit it if it didn't want to make you drive a VW when they heard it. I like alot of that musical tree, Uncle Tupelo, Son Volt, all good. |

I would vote for Modest Mouse too, because I am trying to sleep away the part of the day that I cannot drink away.

Agreed. Not a fan of their bass guitar being the lead melody for every song.

No, not too hard. I don't know if I can explain why I didn't like it. I'm sure you have a few like that too - that you just don't like.

Not a fan of Primus at all, but I love this video:
