It would be nice if anyone in the media would have the guts to ask her about it, but they're too afraid of her. Pussies.

I don't know think this will work IPU. The Clintons have been incredibly resilient in the face of Republican attacks. From 1991 until now, the Clintons have been scandal-ridden; Gennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Whitewater, Troopergate, Monica Lewinsky, shady fundraising and the list goes on. But it hasn't affected their popularity. If Bill Clinton were on a ticket today, he would be a shoe in. No question. Attacks against Clinton ethics don't work. It never has.

If you look at the likely voting patterns in the next election, each party nominee is guaranteed 45%. The big challenge is who will be able to capture that middle 10%. The swing voter is an unemployed Ohio factory worker who doesn't give a shit about Ron Brown, but he wants a job. The swing voter is a jaded conservative who is sick of the war and unproductive party politics. The swing voter is the 24 year old military wife from Kentucky who is sick of her husband being used as a political pawn.

The swing voters are sick of party politics and they want ideas, not attacks. If a Republican can forward exciting ideas to do something with health care, social security, and an Iraqi exit strategy, then they might have a chance at winning. As it stands, the Democrats are due for a victory and having a Clinton on the ticket only strengthens their chances.

It would work because the Republicans have been too big of wusses. They need to make it an all-out, relentless and focused on all of her abuses of power and criminal activity. The Republicans are too nice in the political arena and need to be as nasty as the Clinton political machine. The Dems don't hvae any ideas, other than they won't do what Bush has done.

Politics is a game of showing why the other candidate would be bad for the country and the Clintons are the best players at that game this country has ever seen.
