And here we see yet again what happens when you put someone in a position that they don't really want.

this is the equivalent of the guy who doesn't like scouting or the outdoors being called to be the scoutmaster. they play basketball in the gym every week and go to summer camp once a year. and the Bishopric just doesn't understand why it isn't working out. But Br. so-and-so is a wonderful wealthy accountant, how come he can't organize the scouts?

Duh, because he hates it, but feels like out of loyalty, he must serve his time.

We ought to make a Mormon movie.

About the mythical 2010 BYU football team. That were righteous men of power and won every game, and wins the national championship. It would be a hilarious sendup.

If true, it could be interpreted to mean success in the eyes of God, not the AP voters.

Maybe he was evoking a priesthood blessing on the athletic department. They are just now living up to their part of it.
