Those are things that will get him a shot at the NFL. Will he stick? Who knows.

Also in using the Harline Coats comparisons. You have to look to what fits where. Harline was outstanding in college. Coats was decent in college.

Harline is doing something else now. Coats is in the NFL firmly entrenched on a two deep roster. What is valued and why makes all the difference in the world.

Great post DJRoss. Thanks for illustrating my point that Reed has some tools that Collie doesn't and Collie does somethings maybe a few things a little better than Reed.

I'm not saying that Reed is better than Collie by any means, I just think that with all things considered that things even out and they are both equally handy(or if we were comparing disabled people, handicapable).

You don't read the religion or politics sections of this board much do you?

I suggest a search on the key word "Danzig" for a comprehensive list of threads covering the hullabaloo. However, my guess is that the majority of the threads won't be about The Misfits or about "Mother", so if you are looking for discussion about Glenn Danzig you will be disappointed.

I dunno. Mike is a Texan and is laughing at your comments.

He might some day serve as an assistant coach there, Mike, so don't laugh.

And I appreciate Reed's contributions immensely, but BYU rarely sends receivers there. Collie may be an exception.

Reed is a decent college receiver. But he is surrounded by offensive players in key positions of marginal AA ability in Unga, Pitta and Collie. Methinks brother Hale could catch 35 passes a year in those circumstances.

Saying that he fits BYU's offensive system well and I am glad he is at BYU and has flourished to the extent that he has.
