I will board as long as I am able. Still a few years from 30 but I get a kick out of the old guys on the hill with their 70 or 80 year old ski club patches on their one piecers.

Boarding was easy for me to pick up. But I grew up surfing and skating. I started off skiing when I was probably 10. Wrenched my knee horribly when I fell backwards and my boot didn't release from the binding. Didn't try it again for a year or two. I can get down a mountain fine on skis but I just don't care for it.

I don't wear a helmet. I have suffered two injuries and both were AC sprains. One to each shoulder though my right shoulder was III and effectively ended my season. I don't get too crazy. I have noticed I am starting to break more easily as I get older.
