Why?

I hear this all the time and maybe I believe it, because I have used that logic.

But I'm not certain I believe the rule of law will prevail, as I've no evidence of it. Show me where the rule of law prevails amongst radical Islam.

That is a crux of some arguments.

Another shade of the argument is that persons who have dehumanized themselves are no longer human and have forfeited their rights by virtue of their choices.

If a persons decides to step in front of oncoming traffic, he doesn't get a hearing before being hit.

If a person shoots at a soldier, he doesn't get a hearing.

If a person acts outside of the bounds of humanity, it is not unreasonable for humanity to say, you don't get humane treatment. That argument is not without some appeal. It lacks certain difficulties in application and within our country for legal citizens or for legal aliens I would oppose anything but the rule of law.

Nonetheless, somebody stepping into the traffic of extra-nationality of terror does not deserve the protections of humanity.

Maybe that's unappealing to you.

Fighting a war on terror requires getting dirty whether you like it or not.

Fighting the war on terror requires balls. Something the dems don't have.

Fighting the war on terror requires unconventional means of war.

Fighting the war on terror requires showing no mercy towards them and acting swiftly.

Fighting the war on terror requires viewing terrorists as your enemy.

Fighting the war on terror requires taking a strong stand against terrorism by SHOWING that action is willing to be taken, instead of empowering terrorists and treating them like U.S. Citizens.

One day Democrats will hopefully get a set (though I doubt they will) and fight this war the way it should be fought, but instead they're too concerned with showing terrorists that we can empower them and give them hope.

They deserve neither.

There is no pretty way to fight this war.
