My love for BYU is like a radio transmission. It is always there, I just have to choose to tune in.

They arent ducking anyone, least of all BYU.
They're not scared of BYU. They're scared of losing to BYU on the road. Losing to BYU on the road ruins their season. Losing to Ohio State on the road? Not so much.

In the end, BYU represents a decent risk with not a lot to offer in return. Kinda like Northern Iowa (or is it Illinois? Indiana?)

Exactly, if someone could take their prophylactic goggles off, they would see how losing to BYU in Provo would end a bCs run for the war horses.

I dont have any goggles on.

I am trying to tell you that big named schools are not afraid of playing BYU. We have had a nice 2 year run (in which we lost most of our BCS games), but we also had been fairly lousy for the past 5 or so years.

What exactly are these teams afraid of? Our impressive track record against ranked BCS teams?

Way to get the locals riled up ute4ever! Didn't you know that BCS mania is running wild in Provo? I'm sure that when PC & Mike Garrett looked at scheduling future OOC games, they had Happy Valley at the top of the "do not schedule at all costs" list.

They were spooked by the omens of Miami.

It is funny, but I honestly think we only have 3 games to point to wherein we show the ability to beat good BCS teams at home....Miami, Penn State, and TAMU. And if i am not mistaken, wasn't TAMU not that great that year? How was Penn State, I dont recall, either. Miami obviously was epic.

What are our signature BCS road wins against good BCS teams? I cant really think of any. FUCLA wasnt really that great when we beat them in December.

The notion that these teams are afraid of losing to BYU is pretty laughable, actually.
