? Explain. It's not like you have to cook while she is gone. Or watch the kids.

We are both counsel of record and divide up the work. It's a big job.

I think YOhio is right. The SU-Mike rivalry is probably superior to the UD-Mike rivalry.

Meaning you have to cover for her while she's gone in Dixie?

To be fair, I have covered an entire hospital myself, with 120 beds, covering for every other doctor's patients. Something like that?

Only quantitatively. I don't have the stamina to do it often, but don't sell me short. Also, do you really think SU gets under Mike's skin? I don't.

I am an advocate, husband and father of diverse talents. I do whatever I'm called upon to do and endeavor to do it very well, whether it's arguing in court, cafting a brief, advising a client, or reading to a child before bed. But unlike yourself, my ego is never an issue as I serve my family and fellow man and woman.

Now, answer my query: Give me a principled rationale why they don't apologize. I bet you can't.

You won't answer because for you, like them, it's an ego thing. If you didn't have to be right all the time (as they have to be) you'd just abandon them, because I sense your disappointment in them.

Waters, it must cut you, a Mormon physician, to the quick that the AMA has done this, and the LDS Church has not, even though you think it should.

I still don't understand why you can't represent anyone.

I told you, I do. We are co-counsel, as is common on a large case.

So between the two of you, there is one pro bono case?

How generous.
