At least I know it will be you and Cali in the motel room and not you and me. Go at it boys, sing it now.

I am not comfortable making any predictions when it comes to politics. In fact, political predictions scare more than anything. The two of you are comfortable predicting the unknowable.

Most people also don't call it a "Surrender First" approach, unless by "most people" you mean "most conservative talk show hosts."

He doesn't have much to sell. The country already agrees.

Here is where you two lose, claiming to know what most people feel or believe.

Just going off of polls, Arch. Ironically, for you to disagree with the polls you would have to claim that you know what most people feel or believe.

Polls are snapshots in time based on the structure of imprecise questions. Polls are anything but precise, and they are static representations, not dynamic measurements.

And unfortunately, both sides do polling, but often seem to get opposite answers. I don't trust polls.

Going with instincts means I cannot be as certain as the two of you are. It means I always have fears and doubts when it comes to political predictions. I had fears and doubts before the Nixon-McGovern race, and before each Reagan race. So what do I know.

Since we're "just going off polls":

Who do you trust more on ...

The Economy
McCain 47%, Clinton 42%
McCain 46%, Obama 39%

Iraq War
McCain 50%, Clinton 40%
McCain 48%, Obama 39%

National Security
McCain 54%, Clinton 34%
McCain 52%, Obama 31%

Govt Ethics and Corruption
McCain 47%, Clinton 34%
Obama 44%, McCain 33%

Taxes
McCain 45%, Clinton 36%
McCain 41%, Obama 38%

Please, please, have Obama take on McCain on national security and Iraq.
