Actually it is my fault me and Saddam Hussein. I tend to be generous in cutting Bush quite a lot of slack regarding how things have been managed, but as a business man, I have to say that GW's track record in the private sector prior to being elected Governor was not good. He did not at that time possess the ability to run a business successfully. If you are going to sit in the drivers seat of America, you need to have business acumen and leadership skills. This is what drives the US Bus. Without those abilities you cannot lead by example. Romney has at least this going for him. He realizes that the US is falling behind where it counts, and he not only wants to compete, he wants to get the US back on top. So do I, which is why I do what I do for a living. I am tired of richest country in the world acting like it is a trailer trash wife looking for coupon deals for breakfast candy at Walmart. We need to get back to leading by our example which should be one of progress. |

Welcome DJ. Back in the day when I spent more time at the "henhouse" I always enjoyed your conisdered football posts. Look forward to more of the same here.
Some advice: whatever you do, don't make friends with Lingo. IN fact, dont' even treat him nicely. His whole personality sort of depends on the whole martyr thing, so you will actually be doing him a favor by treating him like dirt. Really. That's the only reason the rest of us do it. This should save you some time.

Well I have to get back to work before picking up the ratpack. But I thought I would leave you with a nice image that tugs a bit at my heartstrings.
This is one of the many beaches in Southern Sweden. This image was most likely taken during a summer evening at around 10 pm. The water usually at this time of year during this late hour is about 72 degrees warm and makes for a wonderful evening dip before calling it quits for the evening. My wife and I would often take an evening dip during the summers. Not too crowded and quite relaxing as you watch seagulls flying lazily by looking for a roost for the their nightly slumber. I was just trying (without success apparently) to make fun of him for being such a winy martyr about it. I think if he didn't make this sort of comment from time to time, no one would think it was an issue. Sorry Lingo, just being all call it like I see it Rocky on you here.

I have to confess I didn't read your introduction, because, let's face it, it's just too damn long. However, I think I spotted the word "nudity" somewhere in that tome. I can't speak for the rest of the board, but if you'd be willing to rewrite your introduction and just concentrate on the "nudity in Europe" part, I promise I'll read every word.
