Would you say that Boise State is also better than TT? Because I think a fair argument can be made that Boise State has eclipsed BYU.

Boise is getting there, but not there yet. Their market is too small. I'm impressed with their consistency last ten years, their attendance, and their investment in facilities, but they could be one bad coaching hire from losing it all. They need to prove it for 20 years like BYU has.

I could buy that. I guess you could make an argument TT is greater program than BYU's. I don't know a lot about TT. BCS affiliation has changed things the last ten years for a lot of schools. BYU's upside seems greater than TT's and TT's downside lower as well.
