Where in Lehi was this ward?

I live in Lehi, and we have a brand new ward, it has split 3 times, once about 2 weeks after 20-30 families (including ours) moved in. So we never felt like outsiders, now we are some of the old timers of the ward.

I think its ridiculous not to invest a little time in getting to know people even if it is just for a short period of time.

How about not investing a bit of time to get to know people because I hate everyone?

that works too, i have some neighbors that i know i wont get along with, they are just not my type of people. I say hi if we make eye contact, i know their name, but when the rest of the neighborhood comes to my house for a bbq they are always looking out the window drooling over the food and fun we are having.

I like your style. Exclusion of one group is always good fun.

Of course, my style is to have a BBQ and invite nobody. I just tell the neighbors looking over the fence that their eyes are trespassing and not to make me get out the pellet gun.

Can't remember the name of the ward but we were on 2450 S between 400 and 500 W. Maybe Bullriver something or other?

Interesting. I haven't experienced what you have in the various wards I've been in, but then, Murray is the farthest north I've ever lived in the Salt Lake Valley.
