A right to do somehting doens't mean it will matter.
That only works if there's only one candidate. It seems like you're saying that "Don't blame me; I voted for McCain"/"I'm sorry I voted for Clinton" is a better position than "I told you they were both morons." I disagree. Why should I be forced to support either the douche or the shit sandwich?

Sorry, it's a giant douche or a turd sandwich. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oID=1519255954

I do agree that those who voted for the idiot that wins can't complain, because they were a part of the reason the idiot was elected, but I'll stick with my belief that if you don't vote, you can't complain because you made no effort to stop an idiot from getting elected.

But that assumes that there's a non-idiot to support, does it not?

You've said this much better than I did.

I just don't like whiners who refuse to do anything to remedy a situation.

I suppose it does. In that case, choose the lesser idiot.

Both are idiots. Just because one wears blue and one wears red does not make them any less idiots. I can't tell the candidates apart based on their actions. The government still bothers me whether it is Clinton's or Bush's government. When I think someone will actually lower my taxes I vote. I've voted twice for GWB. I won't vote for any of the current socialists.

Why women were ever given a vote is beyond my comprehension. They are the segment of voters who have really screwed things up, more than the old coots.

They should just lie there in their red bikinis.

Even knowing that we have more debt than we'll ever be able to pay off and that none of the current crop is likely to stop with the prodigal spending you still think lower taxes is what we need?

the only hope of our debts ever being paid off is an economic boom, which won't be happening if you raise taxes.
