My reference was more to the feeling they, muslims, would be inclined to think in general the mullahs are in a better position to guide their children than the parents are.

They might also be more inclined to call girls who don't dress the way they would like, "whores".

Don't you really think your comment was over the top. "An awful lot" (that means many) "of fathers," I guess you mean LDS fathers since we were talking about LDS standards, "have no problem letting their daughters dress like whores."

To me that is the type of standard you would find in the what I perceive as the muslim community.

You're about 80 years removed from high school, 71. Trust me, good Mormon girls dress like whores all the time and either they're changing clothes once they get to school or the parents don't care.

Okay, like whores is an exaggeration. I don't think any of them show up in fishnet stockings and a halter top, but it's close.
