I think we should make the Chinese remove Jong Il. Tell them we'll close all the Wal Marts in the US if they don't - killing their exports.

On the serious note, you mention a future humanitarian crisis as a cost for removing Il, but didn't two million people in NK already starve to death in the late '90s?

I don't know if it was 2 million, but I know that a lot did. I am talking about the flood of refugees into South Korea and China if Kim Jong and the boys were to go down.

I can tell you that the Chinese will not be attempting to remove the Ill regime anytime soon, because they prefer the status quo. That is why they are doing a bunc of cross border deals and setting up SEZ's near the border.
