oops. I was referring to internet (the link I posted) as the lesser medium...not your audiobook. I wonder if he narrates his own work.

Farrah, did you see you made the 50,000th post? I noticed that when I quoted you. Do you think there's a prize??

I just picked up a third novel by Michel Houlebecq called The Possibility of an Island. I really enjoyed the other two, Platform and Elementary Particles.

Yeah, Mike - does Farrah get a prize?

I'd guess that Mike would believe that Farrah being lucky enough to be his wife would be prize enough.

I'm currently reading "Weapons of Mass Construction", an old college buddy of mine's recently finished book on body building.

Don't worry - the content is better than its dreadful title.

Just this evening, I finished a riveting tale of siblings and their adventures of interaction with their father. Couple this with a trio of timber dwelling aquatic vertebrates of a sanguine hue and various strange bedfellows and it was a terrific 10 minutes of reading with my 4 year old.

Ah yes, I had just made it to the H's. Hop on Pop. A fine choice. My favorite remains Fox in Sox.

Default I really enjoyed Spook

Before that, I read Spook: "Science Tackles the Afterlife" by Mary Roach. It started out interesting and funny, but dragged towards the end. I heard her other book, about the cadavers, is better.

I also listened to some audio books by David Sedaris. "Me Talk Pretty One Day" is hilarious.

Roach was almost too tongue in cheek at times. But it was a fun enough read.

Have you read them by Jon Ronson?
