Michigan would certainly be influenced by Romney's presence on the ticket, but is it enough to overcome McCain's presence at the top of the ticket? I doubt it. I think the Dems will hold Michigan, but Romney would make it more competitive.

Polls right now show McCain with a slim lead in Michigan. It's going to be more than competitive there with Romney perhaps helping to put it over the top. Also, Colorado is not a shoo in for Obama by any means. Romney could help there.
