Yea, one of the reasons we elected the democrats to Congress was so they could get this energy cost thing under control. They have done a hell of a job. The price has only doubled since they got in. Think of how much under control they will be able to keep it if they get the Presidency too.

We sell them weapons, while they don't sell us oil. Does that make sense?

Democrats don't think so. Bush and GOP does.
No I agree, we should hold their feet to the fire until the last friend we have other there turns on us as well.

Israel won't turn on us. We run interference for them at the UN and give them $10 million a day just for existing.

When our "friends" are training terrorists, and supporting clerics who urge our destruction, some "friends".

I'd rather consider them enemies.

In the Middle East, sometimes the difference between friend and foe is not much.

"oh, we don't need a million more barrels a day from Saudi Arabia. We need to open up our wildlife reserves for less oil, in 2020. That's the solution." --George Bush.

More awfulness from George Bush. His request was pro forma, and he knows Saudi oil money will be in his pocket in a few years, just like his dad.

This is so juvenile. The entire US government including Presidents in both parties are so deep in bed with the Saudis that you couldn't find the lot if you tore all the covers off.

There are no good guys in rising oil prices. Not Bush. Not the Saudis. And sure as hell not the Democrats.

I would include most of the Repubs as well. And leftist environmentalists.
