Even quicker....go to White Castle after midnight and wait for Indians, Chinese, and pretty much every other ethnicity to start pouring through the doors. Then, take your pick!

Maybe I can change my name to Rajiv? Thanks to the magical world of genealogy, I must be at least 0.00025% Indian through one of my lines somewhere.
Oh, the thought of coming home to Tandoori and Nan every evening... I am really excited with this idea. |

Her mom is a caterer, though. That bodes well.

Speaking of Indian food....
My daughter (age 12) has developed quite a passion for cooking lately and is getting to where she can put together some impressive dishes. We got her the following cookbook for Christmas: http://www.amazon.com/Curry-Book-Mem...0287978&sr=8-1 It is authored by Nancie McDermott, who wrote the Vietnamese and Thai books recommended by BigFatMeanie (we picked up those also). Today, she cooked up this Indian curry dish: It is yogurt-based and includes traditional yellow curry powder with extra cumin, coriander, fresh ginger, etc. She also made this apple-raisin chutney: Both were wonderful. She tried a naan recipe recently (from the internet), but it came out kind of tough. So she improvised and cooked up some fresh flour tortillas from Costco. We called it "Mexican Naan". If this trend keeps up, she is going to keep daddy happy for a long time.

Allow me to extend the same invitation to you. If you are flexible, that is.

Jeff for a moment there I had my hopes up, until re-reading the part about her being 12. Why do you torture me?
