She will win because the nation secretly loves Bill. We want Bill back, with his wit and wisdom and humanity.

I hope you visit me in Hong Kong, because a nation that loves Hillary is something with which I cannot relate.

So you will move to a totalitarian country. Make sense.

Hillary will be the pay back for the eight years we made them suffer through Bush. Just one more reason to put a negative mark on the Bush presidency.

2. The GOP candidates are weak.

Let's face it, Romney can't win - he's a Mormon and is considered a flip-flopper (not necessarily undeserved either).

Rudy just has too much family baggage, plus it's hard for die hard 2nd ammendment types to get behind him.

McCain is too old and for some reason isn't getting the favorable press coverage he got in 2000. Maybe it's his stance on Iraq.

Thompson - just not seeing it. The whole thing with his cleavaged "trophy wife" just seems un-Presidential.

I pray I'm wrong and I'll throw my full support behind behind the GOP nominee, but I'm not very optimistic.

Problem is, unlike liberals, we have no safety-valve country to flee to. I guess I'll focus on my bunker and building up my ammo cache.
I just dont' see it. Way too many negatives. Too many people have a real inner dislike even hatred for her. She has peaked among the national electorate. The people who really dislike her aren't going to change their minds no matter what. She is a known quantity, everyone else isn't.

That's pretty much been my opinion until recently. I'm just not seeing a strong Republican candidate emerging. Of course it's early, so I hope things change.

Dammit, Archaea you are such a hysterical pussy about Hillary or any other Democrat. Take a quick gander at the past presidencies of some Democrats and some Republicans and consider that they do not hew to your preconcieved notions.

You are far smarter than this dong shriveled up economic windbaggery.

Besides you know that it is very, very likely to happen and life will go on.

As I read in an essay this past week, we elect public officials not because we agree with their policies and ideals, but because we like them.

Interesting thought.
