Some guys don't pay much attention to nonverbal communication, but mistaking a leerer for a friendly exchange is pretty bad.

Odds are that your date knows the guy was being weird, but wanted to downplay it for some reason.

Maybe he didn't want to seem insecure or controlling.

Maybe he wanted to smoothe you over because he's concerned that your uptight.

There are lots of maybees.

The Boob Stare should be taken as a compliment. I can't figure out why women love guys to stare into their eyes or other features, but the hooters are a no-no. So many women spend so much money on breast enhancement, the least we should do as men is notice.

Reminds me of a blind date I had once. I am a good conversationalist, but geez, she somehow got into telling me how ticked off she was at her new mailman because he talked to her chest not her eyes. C'mon, you think I didn't realize she was subtly letting me know I was in for a treat.

She was right and I told her her mailman talked to her chest because they spoke volumes. I enjoyed our relationshsip after each of her 3 divorces. I haven't checked to see if the 4 marriage worked.

A shrink convinced me my interest and love for her wasn't an all encompassing love, but a rather shallow love of her attributes that were not long lasting.
