so you rode 70 miles in the Vegas heat, ran out of water 15 miles before the finish, you are a bad mofo.
Mikewaters you rode 16 miles, were passed by a guy who was training for a tri, who i am sure had already swam 3 miles and ran a full marathon. Mike you sir are a pussy, archaea you may be old but you are my new hero.

If your ride would have been a mid afternoon ride in Vegas and you ran out of water 15 miles out I would have some sympathy for you. That 15 miles probably only took 30 minutes in the cool of the morning, suck it up.

I'll admit it's not up to the standards of the three amigos, Q, Goose and RC, but it did reach 98 by the end of the ride and it's over 110 today. At least I can say as the guy riding the tri bike, that somebody else was huggin the wheel, henceforth, "Miking it".

At least you are getting your miles in. I am hoping for a big day tomorrow just to hit my 100 for the week. I am sitting at 50 now. And I haven't ridden for 2 days.
