2002, One of Ron Mcbrides finest moments.

I also didnt realize the score was that close in 2004, AF went 5-6 that year. Maybe Utah wasnt as good as people think.

That would be '01. Bob Rice's grandson. The same guy who threw the pick in LES at the end of the game.

Thanks for bringing that up.

Remember when BYU demanded to be in a BCS game then proved they belonged when they played at Hawaii? That was pretty cool too, don'tcha think?

That was a sad day, but not totally unexpected given Staley's absence.

On the other hand, Staley's dash down the sidelines a few weeks earlier was definitely something to remember.

LOL.

I was just trying remember where it was in that list. I didn't think it was that long ago.

Got it. It's just one of those sore spots for us Ute fans and another one of the comedy of errors during the McBride era. It's a shame too, because McBride is a great guy and was the catalyst in getting Utah football out of the hole it had been in for a long time.

I knew exactly what it was just by the still shot in the youtube viewer.

That was the onside kick of onside kicks. Inadvertently blast it off the chest of one of the receiving team's players. Works every time.

Utah even though they've won 4 of the last 5, it hasn't come without great struggle.

Most of those games have gone right down to the wire, save the 04 game.

On paper Utah should kick their ass pretty bad. AFA I think will hang around for a little while, and then Utah eventually pounds the ball on the ground with Asiata and Mack and wins 34-20.
