I saw lots of holding by the Utes that was never called.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

And how about all the holding that wasn't called at key moments in the game? The Utes got away with some big time stuff.

You have to admit that the call was bogus. Johnson's throw looked like a Sakoda field goal. Completely uncatchable.

Dude, do they not teach math in Emery county?

Utah won by 3.

Even without two-point conversion, they come out on top.

Although, in a universe of constant flux, one change precipitates an entire chain reaction of changes and there's no telling what different decisions, calls, etc. would have happened had that call been reversed, nevertheless if you want to pin the game's outcome on a single call, at least make it a call that makes the numbers add up.

(similar scenario with the byu and washington - if washington hits the PAT, they still have to go to overtime. Commentators were acting like Washington was robbed of the win. bad math all around.)

If Utah misses the 2 point attempt, Utah is forced to onsides kick the ball and if they don't get it, OSU runs out the clock.

Utah had 2 time outs...they would've got the ball back, and BJ would not have overthrown his receiver on the long ball. In fact, he probably would've thrown it to Aiona Key and he would've caught it easily.

how many "should have been picked offs" were there in that game. I can think of 2 off the top of my head. The out on the sidelines towards the end. And one of the long ducks that fell in the middle of three OSU players.

Maybe even Tafuna can intercept Brian Johnson.

True, but then Utah gets the ball back with about 40 seconds left and liekly inside their own 20 with no timeouts left.
